The guidance tool, which received regulatory approval in April 2026, offers tailored account recommendations and fund suggestions at no extra cost.
It aims to help individuals who struggle with starting their investment journeys.
Company estimates indicate that UK citizens hold roughly £218 billion in excess cash savings beyond routine expenses and emergency funds.
Vanguard's research shows that many savers lack confidence in investing.
"We know that many savers lack confidence when it comes to investing," said Liz Waldron, head of client experience and product at Vanguard.
"Around 70% say they don't feel confident in their investment knowledge and nearly two thirds (58%) say they feel unsure about how to get started."
The company found that one in five users drops out of the individual savings account (ISA) sign-up process when asked to select a specific investment.
"For many, investing feels complex, time-consuming or simply too risky," Waldron added.
To simplify decision-making, the online questionnaire directs users toward ISA or SIPP accounts.
It recommends LifeStrategy funds for general investing and Target Retirement funds for pension planning, alongside educational interactive prompts.

"Our targeted support service is designed to remove some of those barriers by helping people take the first step with confidence," Waldron said.
