Royale Union Saint-Gilloise forward Mohammed Fuseini was hospitalized on Sunday after being violently dragged from his vehicle and robbed by five masked men during a daylight attack in Brussels.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian striker was sitting in his parked car when five men wearing hooded sweaters approached him.

The assailants forcibly pulled Fuseini out of the vehicle and immediately targeted his mobile phone before overpowering him.
Despite Fuseini's attempts to resist, three attackers held him in a chokehold while taking his high-value wristwatch, identified as a Rolex Datejust worth between 8,000 and 14,000 euros.
Simultaneously, an accomplice searched the interior of his vehicle before all five perpetrators fled the scene.
Emergency services transported Fuseini directly to a local hospital for medical treatment following the robbery.
Local authorities confirmed awareness of video footage documenting the assault that is currently circulating online, while referring official inquiries to the public prosecutor's office that oversees the ongoing investigation.

"We are grateful to the Brussels police for their good assistance," Royale Union Saint-Gilloise said in a statement.
Despite the traumatic assault, Fuseini returned to the training pitch with his teammates on Monday.
While the physical injuries appear minor, the violent encounter left a strong impression on the forward.
Fuseini joined the Belgian champions in the summer of 2024 from Austrian club Sturm Graz and Danish side Randers, signing a contract through mid-2028.

A key figure in the locker room, he has scored 14 goals in 71 appearances for the Brussels club, including the winning goal in the recent cup final against Anderlecht.
