Denver's Regional Transportation District is boosting service and security on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, to accommodate thousands of fans attending major downtown concerts by AC/DC and Megan Moroney.

Heavy crowd traffic is anticipated as AC/DC performs at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium while Megan Moroney headlines Ball Arena.

Enhanced Rail and Security Measures

To handle the influx of riders, RTD is adding extra rail cars to the C, E, W, and N lines.

Agency officials confirmed that extra Transit Police and security personnel will deploy across stations and system lines throughout the evening.

Concertgoers traveling to Empower Field can access the venue via the C, E, and W rail lines or local bus Routes 1, 15L, 16, 30, and 31, which service the nearby Decatur-Federal Station area.

Riders heading to Denver Union Station can transfer using the Flatiron Flyer or local bus Routes 0, 9, 10, 15, 20, and 32.

For the Megan Moroney show at Ball Arena, attendees can ride the E Line directly from Lone Tree or take the W Line from Golden, while bus commuters can arrive at 9th Street and Auraria Parkway.

Commuters taking the A, B, G, and N lines can connect to both stadium venues through Denver Union Station.

Final departure times for trains leaving downtown venues after the shows have been fixed by the transit authority.

The final C Line trains depart Ball Arena at 11:51 p. m.
