Apple TV released a Season 1 blooper reel for its hit science-fiction series Pluribus on July 21, 2026, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the cast following the show's 18 Emmy Award nominations.
The 90-second video showcases lighthearted moments from the production of the freshman drama, which premiered in November 2025 and quickly became the most-watched show in Apple TV history while securing a 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

In the blooper montage, lead actress Rhea Seehorn, who plays misanthropic author Carol Sturka, breaks character while struggling to unlock a pair of handcuffs.
"Son of a bitch — sorry!" said Seehorn, Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy nominee.
The clip also shows Seehorn laughing after getting foam on her face and failing to open a Gatorade bottle during filming.
"Is it on my face?" asked Seehorn.
She surrendered to her struggle with the beverage bottle shortly after. "Nope," said Seehorn.
Additional footage features supporting cast members Karolina Wydra performing vocal warm-ups, Carlos-Manuel Vesga falling while filming a jungle scene, guest star Miriam Shor affecting a mock accent, and guest actor Samba Schutte searching for missing food.

The comedic reel stands in contrast to the post-apocalyptic narrative created by Vince Gilligan, which follows immune survivors resisting a global happiness virus.
The series earned major Emmy nods, including Outstanding Drama Series, alongside writing, directing, and acting nominations for Seehorn, Vesga, Wydra, Shor, and Jeff Hiller.
While Apple TV previously granted a two-season order, writing for Season 2 remains ongoing.
Executive producer Gordon Smith noted in June that writing was roughly midway through completion, with filming expected to resume by late 2026 or early 2027.
Production updates from Apple TV executive Matt Cherniss indicate that the complex nature of the show will push the Season 2 premiere beyond the next Emmy eligibility window, placing the anticipated return between late 2027 and 2028.

Emmy Award voting takes place from August 17 to August 26.
