Apple appears to be readying two new devices: a refreshed iPad mini and a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K.
Both surfaced in leaked Apple code, according to reports citing internal software files.
The iPad mini leak was found by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris.
The code shows the device with an A20 Pro chip, a landscape front-facing camera, and an updated speaker system.
Images of the tablet's front reveal a small groove on the top of the display glass, likely for the speaker, similar to the iPhone.
Volume and power buttons remain on top.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has also suggested the iPad mini will add water resistance and a vibration-based speaker system.
A slightly larger OLED screen is expected as well.
The new iPad mini is anticipated to launch by the end of October, though Apple has not confirmed any details.
Fourth-Generation Apple TV 4K Also Surfaces
Separate code leaks indicate Apple is developing a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K streaming box.
An internal image shows a black square device similar in design to the current model.
The label "Apple TV 4K (4th generation)" confirms its existence, as reported by MacObserver. The image does not reveal hardware specifics.
Prior leaks suggested the new Apple TV could include an A19 or A19 Pro chip, enhanced Siri AI capabilities, and faster wireless connectivity.
The current model uses an A15 Bionic chip and was released in October 2022.
The leak also noted a revised Siri Remote appearing in separate code, though it is not shown in the image.
Apple has yet to announce pricing, configurations, or release dates for the new Apple TV 4K model.
