The New York Liberty rallied from an 11-point deficit in the third quarter to defeat the Los Angeles Sparks 113-109 on Tuesday, extending Los Angeles' losing streak to six games.
The Sparks led for much of the second and third quarters, but the Liberty mounted a fourth-quarter comeback to secure the win.

First Half Battle
New York opened the game with a Sabrina Ionescu layup, but Los Angeles responded with nine straight points.
The first quarter featured strong perimeter shooting, with the Liberty hitting 75 percent from three-point range and the Sparks shooting 60 percent.
Han Xu came off the bench to score 11 first-quarter points for New York. Los Angeles erased a six-point first-quarter deficit to take a three-point lead at halftime.
Cameron Brink scored 11 points in the first half, and Rae Burrell added 10 points to lead the Sparks' offense.
Fourth Quarter Turnaround
Los Angeles expanded its lead to 11 points during an 11-2 run in the third quarter.
However, a nine-point scoring run near the end of the third period restored a 78-77 advantage for the Liberty.

Breanna Stewart scored four consecutive points midway through the fourth quarter to push New York's lead to eight, and the margin eventually reached double digits with 3:30 remaining in regulation.
A late seven-point surge by Los Angeles brought the score within four points with 1:48 left.
After a successful challenge by LA on a foul call, New York secured the resulting jump ball, and Rebecca Allen hit a clutch three-pointer to seal the possession.
Six players finished in double figures for Los Angeles. Rae Burrell led with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting.
Nneka Ogwumike recorded 21 points and nine assists, Erica Wheeler added 17 points and nine assists, and Ariel Atkins chipped in 16 points.
Brink contributed 11 points and six rebounds for the Sparks, while Dearica Hamby scored 12 points.
