Paul Goldschmidt singled home Ben Rice, and Spencer Jones followed with a three-run homer.
Martin settled in and pitched six innings, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out six.

Yankees starter Cam Schlittler held Chicago scoreless through six innings before Andrew Benintendi doubled in a run in the seventh.
Trailing 4-1 in the eighth, Chicago tied the game on consecutive home runs by Sam Antonacci and Munetaka Murakami off Yankees reliever Paul Blackburn.
The teams traded runs in the 11th.
Anthony Volpe hit a pinch-hit sacrifice fly for New York, but Chicago answered when Murakami scored on an errant pickoff throw by catcher Ali Sanchez.
With the loss, New York fell 2 1/2 games behind Tampa Bay in the American League East.
