Apple Corps will release a new Super Deluxe Edition of The Beatles' 1965 album Rubber Soul on October 2, featuring 23 previously unreleased tracks.
The collection includes a secret John Lennon home demo titled "Little Girl."

Unlike the 2023 track "Now And Then," this 1965 partially complete Lennon recording features no additional musical contributions from surviving members Paul McCartney or Ringo Starr.
The upcoming special edition contains 20 previously unreleased session takes and three unreleased home recordings.
McCartney Reflects on Archival Process
The surviving band members previously discussed revisiting archival recordings during interviews with MOJO in 2023.
McCartney explained that the demo had been set aside for years after initial work with producer Jeff Lynne in the 1990s.
"It hung around for a while… years," said Paul McCartney.

"And every so often I’d kind of go to the cupboard and think, There’s a new song in there, y’know.
We should do it, we’ve got to do it. But it would go back in the cupboard.
A couple of years ago, I said, ‘No, we’ve really got to do something.’"
The reissue project was mixed by Giles Martin and Sam Okell.
It incorporates a new stereo mix, the original mono mix, Dolby Atmos mixes, and the Capitol US album version.

Release formats include 4CD and 5LP box sets accompanied by an 88-page hardbound book. The book features a written introduction by McCartney alongside life-spanning reflections from Lennon.
