The Women's Super League (WSL) fixtures for the 2026-27 season were released on Thursday, July 30, confirming an expanded 14-team league.

The new campaign will begin on the weekend of September 5-6 and conclude on May 22, 2027, with a winter break scheduled from late December to early January.

Each club will play 26 league matches, up from 22, following the additions of Birmingham City, Crystal Palace, and Charlton Athletic to the top flight.

Liverpool and Manchester City Outlook

Liverpool, who finished second-bottom last season, will play most home games at BrewDog Stadium, with three fixtures set for Anfield.

Head coach Gareth Taylor aims to improve on last year's FA Cup semi-final run and compete in the newly formatted Subway Players Cup, which excludes UEFA competition clubs and features a regionalized group stage with penalty shootouts for bonus points on draws.

Manchester City enter the season as reigning WSL champions, having claimed the title with a game to spare and matching their best-ever points total.

The club reported record season ticket sales and will play four additional league matches this season.

City maintained a perfect home record last season and will also feature in UEFA Champions League group matches and FA Cup defense starting January 2027.
