Serbian tennis players Teodora Kostovic and Mia Ristic have reached new career highs in the latest WTA rankings, released on July 27, 2026.
Both players earned their positions after winning challenger titles in Austria and Italy.

Kostovic Climbs to Serbia's Top Spot
Kostovic, 19, moved up 26 places to world number 146 with 529 points. She is now the highest-ranked Serbian player on the WTA tour.
Her rise followed a dominant performance at the Amstetten challenger in Austria.
She defeated American Vivian Wolff 6-4, 6-0 in the final without dropping a single set throughout the tournament.
Ristic Jumps to Career Best
Ristic, a 20-year-old from Nis, jumped 37 spots to 224th globally with 345 points. She is now the third-highest ranked Serbian player.
She won the ITF W75 tournament in Cordenons, Italy, beating home favorite Nuria Brancaccio 6-3, 6-3 in the final.
Ristic collected 75 WTA points and did not drop a set during the event.

En route to the title, the fourth seed eliminated two Italian opponents in the opening rounds, a Brazilian in the quarterfinals, and another Italian in the semifinals.
After her Italian title, Ristic advanced to the WTA Challenger in Romania, where she defeated second seed Darja Semenistaja of Latvia in the first round.
Other Serbian Players
Lola Radivojevic remained at 154th with 503 points, holding the second spot among Serbian players.
Olga Danilovic, currently inactive due to pregnancy, dropped one place to 264th with 273 points.
The global top ten rankings remained unchanged.

Belarus's Aryna Sabalenka leads with 8,550 points, followed by Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina (8,056) and American Jessica Pegula (6,300).
