A convenience store in Odenton, Maryland, sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million for the drawing on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, state lottery officials confirmed.
The winning ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missed the jackpot.
The numbers drawn were 30, 36, 40, 42, and 57, with a red Powerball of 2.
The ticket was purchased at the Royal Farms location at 1558 Annapolis Road in Anne Arundel County.
It missed only the Powerball number required for the $663 million grand prize.
The winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim the $1 million prize.
This is the largest Powerball payout in Maryland during the current jackpot run that began on May 2.
The unclaimed jackpot grew to an estimated annuity value of $707 million, or $309.7 million in cash, for the Aug.

Players in Maryland have won more than $5 million since the current roll started, including a $100,000 prize in Harford County and 12 prizes of $50,000.
