The incident occurred after Duran failed to tag up on a fly ball caught by Athletics outfielder Tyler Soderstrom.

He expressed frustration toward teammate Willson Contreras and third base coach Chad Epperson.
Duran reportedly slammed a tablet and continued shouting until he returned to the field for the next inning.
Despite the tension, Boston secured the victory with late home runs from Wilyer Abreu and Contreras. The team overcame six defensive errors across the series.
This win capped a successful month for the Red Sox, who claimed 20 victories in 24 games.

Conflicting Accounts
After the game, interim manager Chad Tracy described the outburst as Duran being angry at himself, not at teammates or coaches.
"Cursing himself," Tracy said.
Duran declined to elaborate, calling the exchange internal squad business. "Nothing," he said when asked about the confrontation.
