Live Nation Beats Q2 Earnings Estimates as Ticketing Revenues Surge

Live Nation Entertainment surpassed Wall Street's second-quarter 2026 earnings estimates, propelled by robust ticketing revenue and strong international attendance growth.

The company reported revenue of $7.67 billion, a 9.4% increase from the same period last year.

Analysts had projected $7.53 billion, resulting in a 1.8% top-line beat.

Diluted earnings per share reached $1.05, up sharply from $0.41 a year ago and well above the consensus estimate of $0.59.

Ticketing and Concert Segments Drive Growth

Ticketing revenue climbed 14.7% year-over-year to $852.2 million, exceeding expectations of $774.82 million.

Global fee-bearing ticket sales hit 90.05 million units, surpassing the projected 84.73 million.

Total global tickets sold reached 161.52 million, compared to the expected 156.96 million.

Concert segment revenue grew 8.4% to $6.44 billion, beating the $6.37 billion forecast.

International attendance rose to 25.59 million fans, exceeding the 22.05 million projection, while North American attendance was slightly below estimates at 23.12 million.

Sponsorship and advertising revenue increased 12.5% to $383 million, just shy of the $385.26 million target.

The company hosted 15.26 million global concert events during the period.
