According to reports from The Athletic and La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A champions are working through intermediaries to secure the 25-year-old.

Liverpool, however, are holding out for €40 million, citing Tottenham Hotspur's recent purchase of Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid as a benchmark.
Jones is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield, having made 228 appearances, scoring 22 goals and providing 25 assists since his debut in 2019.
Senior figures at Liverpool have indicated they would prefer to let the Kirkby academy product leave for free in 2027 rather than accept a fee below their valuation.
Inter's Midfield Rebuild
Inter manager Cristian Chivu views Jones as his primary midfield target to fit his 3-5-2 system, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian club remain patient, anticipating that Liverpool's financial demands may ease as the transfer window closes.
