Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has named a 23-player squad for Saturday's pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

The squad has been streamlined following earlier summer fixtures, with young prospect JJ Gabriel included as he seeks his senior debut.

Academy players Toby Collyer, Dan Gore, Jacob Devaney, and Chido Obi-Martin were left out after last week's 5-0 victory over Rosenborg in Trondheim.

Squad Adjustments

United are looking to build momentum after recovering from an initial 1-0 loss to Wrexham in Helsinki with a dominant win in Norway.

Atletico Madrid arrive in Sweden after a 4-1 victory against Getafe in their pre-season opener.

Amad Diallo and Altay Bayindir have rejoined training at Carrington, but new signing Youri Tielemans and goalkeeper Senne Lammens remain unavailable as they continue integrating.

Youth player Enzo Kana-Biyik will stay at Old Trafford this season, training regularly with the first team while playing for the Under-21s.
