Emirates recorded a flight cancellation rate of 0.16 percent in June 2026, making it the most reliable carrier in the Middle East, according to data from aviation analytics firm OAG.

The figure translates to fewer than two cancellations per 1,000 scheduled flights during the month.

This performance placed Emirates 10th globally among large international airlines, tying with Aeromexico.

Operational statistics from Arabic daily Al Khaleej showed that Emirates outperformed several major carriers, including Korean Air, Copa Airlines, Saudia, and WestJet.

On-Time Performance and Regional Context

Emirates also ranked seventh globally for on-time performance among airlines operating between 10,000 and 20,000 monthly flights.

OAG analyzed 12,608 scheduled flights, revealing that 85.24 percent of Emirates services departed or arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled times.

These results came amid regional airspace instability, which prompted many Middle Eastern and international carriers to adjust schedules, divert paths, or suspend routes across Gulf destinations.
