During the outage, many users reported their devices were stuck in SOS mode, preventing normal calls and data use.
The credits are not issued automatically; customers must reach out to support to receive them.
Reports indicate that affected customers have secured reductions starting at $20.
Some have negotiated larger savings across multiple billing cycles, especially after missing work opportunities due to the disruption.
A T-Mobile spokesperson confirmed the compensation efforts to Mashable following customer inquiries.

We restored service as quickly as possible, addressed and resolved the technical challenges, and remain committed to providing the reliable experience our customers expect from us," the spokesperson said.
The company has not publicly detailed the root cause of the technical failure.
This comes despite T-Mobile posting strong second-quarter financial results, with total revenue reaching $22.7 billion.
How to Get Credits
Customers affected by the outage are advised to contact T-Mobile customer service to inquire about bill credits. The process requires direct communication, as credits are not automatically applied.
