Willy Gnonto has reaffirmed his commitment to Leeds United while on the club's preseason tour in the United States, according to reports on August 1, 2026.
The 22-year-old Italy international is entering his fifth season with Leeds and has been actively involved in the US preseason matches, including games against Wrexham and Sunderland.

Leeds lost 3-2 to Wrexham before securing a 1-0 victory over Sunderland.
Despite recent rumors linking him to Bundesliga clubs, Gnonto emphasized his focus remains on contributing to Leeds and earning more playing time under head coach Daniel Farke.
"Being at Leeds is a privilege," the winger said. "I've been here for a long time, and being in the Premier League is a big challenge."
He expressed his appreciation for the club environment, adding, "Leeds is such a family-orientated club. Everyone makes you feel so comfortable.
I came here quite young, so everyone took care of me, staff, players and obviously the fans."
Gnonto highlighted his strong connection with the club and his sense of belonging, stating, "I feel proper Leeds now.

It's been a while, I enjoy every person and every moment here. Hopefully, there's going to be many more."
The Italian has faced challenges since arriving from FC Zurich in 2022, including Leeds' relegation to the Championship after his first Premier League season and fluctuating playing time.
Last season, he made just four league starts amid reported interest from other European clubs.
Nevertheless, Gnonto remains determined to prove his value and secure a more regular role as Leeds aims to reestablish itself in the Premier League.
His performances during the US tour reflect the trust placed in him by the coaching staff.
