The Red Raiders have secured the conference's seven highest-ranked overall commitments, including two five-star recruits.

Among them is defensive lineman Jalen Brewster, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound prospect ranked fifth nationally and first at his position.

Texas Tech also landed running back SaRod Baker from DeSoto, Texas. Baker rushed for over 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns during his junior season.

Other Big 12 Programs Add Regional Talent

Arizona State secured offensive tackle Jake Hildebrand from Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona, on May 19.

The 6-foot-5, 311-pound tackle anchored an offensive line that led his team to a state championship while averaging 37 points per game.

Hildebrand cited the program's culture and coaching stability as key factors in his decision.

"I picked Arizona State because of the culture that they have here in Tempe," he said.

"Being able to help build a program has been a dream of mine for a while now."

He also noted that the coaches' commitment to the program influenced him.

"I know the coaches will not leave ASU because they were offered the biggest job that was available and both coach Dillingham and coach Tuitele declined the job because they feel something special there," Hildebrand said.

Other notable commitments include quarterback prospect Westwood from Texas, who completed 72.6 percent of his passes for 3,407 yards and 37 touchdowns as a senior.

Oklahoma State secured top-ranked in-state linebacker Israel Hammons, and Colorado landed offensive tackle Li'Marcus Jones.

Interior offensive line prospect Young expressed his connection to his chosen school: "Ever since my first visit it just always feels like home."
