Defending champion Denis Shapovalov advanced to the Los Cabos Open final after a hard-fought three-set victory over Britain's Cameron Norrie on Friday night.
The Canadian won 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in a match that lasted two hours and 39 minutes at the Cabo Sports Complex in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Match Highlights
Shapovalov, the eighth seed, broke Norrie's serve early in the opening set to take a 2-0 lead and closed it out comfortably.
Norrie responded in the second set, converting a forehand volley at set point to break Shapovalov and level the match.
In the deciding set, Shapovalov secured the only break in the first game and held his serve to seal the win.
He finished with nine aces and three double faults, converting three of eight break points.

Norrie had one ace and six double faults, converting two of 11 break chances.
Shapovalov, 27, reached the semi-finals by defeating Czechia's Dalibor Svrcina 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday.
He won the tournament in 2025, sweeping American Aleksandar Kovacevic in the final.

In the other semi-final, France's Arthur Gea beat Coleman Wong of Hong Kong 7-6 (7), 6-3 to set up a championship clash with Shapovalov on Saturday.
