Kia has set a new July sales record in the US, with 75,857 vehicles sold last month.

That's a 7 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

The Carnival minivan played a key role, with deliveries climbing 22.8 percent to 7,279 units.

This puts it close to its all-time monthly best of 7,362 units, achieved in November 2025.

Record Performances Across the Lineup

Several models posted their best-ever July sales, including the Sportage, Carnival, Telluride, Seltos, and K4. The Sportage led with 16,083 units sold, up 11.7 percent.

The K4/Forte followed with 12,094 units (+8%), the Telluride with 11,816 (+13%), the Sorento with 9,038 (+13.5%), and the Seltos with 8,807 (+79.1%).

Through the first seven months of 2026, Kia's total sales reached 506,584 units, a 4 percent increase.

This puts the brand on track for a fourth consecutive annual sales record.

EV Sales Decline, Hybrids Surge

Kia's electric vehicle sales faced challenges in July.

The EV6 saw deliveries nearly halve to 674 units, a 48 percent drop, while the EV9 dipped 5 percent to 1,650 units.

Hybrid sales, however, jumped 108 percent year-over-year.

The Sportage Hybrid led with a 76 percent increase, while the Sorento Hybrid and Carnival Hybrid each rose 16 percent.

Kia plans to maintain momentum with the upcoming Seltos and the entry-level EV3 electric crossover, expected later this year.
