A stolen Audi S5 hit 140 mph (225 km/h) during a police chase in the UK, but it still couldn't shake the officers pursuing it.
The high-speed pursuit unfolded on June 29 when police were alerted to a stolen Audi S5 speeding through local roads.

Footage from police onboard cameras shows the black coupe racing through a large roundabout before officers gave chase.
Initially, the police used two BMW 3-Series estates and a BMW X5 SUV to stay on the Audi.
This generation of the S5 produces around 354 hp from its naturally-aspirated 4.2-liter V8, but that wasn't enough to escape.
Officers remained close behind the Audi for several minutes as the teenage driver sped through small towns, reaching speeds above 140 mph.

As the police braked, the S5 slammed into the rear of the SUV and managed to slip away, though it suffered damage to its right front, with smoke pouring from the car.
Eventually, police boxed the S5 in and brought it to a halt.
They quickly arrested the driver and passenger, smashing the side windows to pull them out.
During a search of the S5, police found keys to at least two other Audis, a Ford, a Mercedes, and a BMW, all with house keys attached, suggesting they may have been stolen.
