Lamborghini has revealed the Revuelto SV's lap time at Hockenheim before the car's official debut.
Factory driver Marco Mapelli lapped the circuit in 1:41.6, which is 5.7 seconds faster than the Aventador SVJ's 2019 time.

The automaker calls the result a best-in-class lap time in its video. Its press release, however, refers to it as a production-car record.
The Mercedes-AMG One's 1:38.563 remains the outright road-car benchmark at Hockenheim.
But the more interesting takeaway is that the Revuelto SV is clearly a much sharper machine than the already formidable SVJ.
Lamborghini hasn't shown the car undisguised yet, but the video reveals plenty of details.
There's a towering fixed rear wing, revised bodywork, a more aggressive rear diffuser, and extra vents scattered across the car.

“The new Revuelto SV represents an extraordinary expression of our vision for a Lamborghini super sports car,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
“Every element of the car has been developed with the goal of taking performance to an even higher level, enhancing the driving engagement and emotion that have always defined our brand.”
The company hasn't disclosed power output, weight reduction, tire choice, or downforce figures.
The standard Revuelto features a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, three electric motors, and 1,001 hp (747 kW).

Full details will arrive at Monterey Car Week. For now, the SV is unquestionably quicker.
