A Louisiana Kia owner claims a dealership removed parts from her SUV without permission to repair another customer's vehicle.
She recorded the incident, leading to the service manager's dismissal.

Unexpected Discovery
Shirley Poullard brought her Kia Telluride to Kia of Lake Charles after a tire blowout on the interstate.
The SUV reportedly sat at the dealership for weeks with little update on the repair timeline.
Frustrated, Poullard visited the dealership in person. She found the hood open and the engine partially dismantled, so she started recording.
Initially, she was told no one had worked on the vehicle.

Later, the service manager admitted that a couple of fuel injectors had been "borrowed" for another customer's car.
Confrontation and Aftermath
In the video, Poullard tells staff, "Taking something without permission is stealing."
She added that if she hadn't come, they would have reassembled the car and she would have been blamed for any future issues.
After the video spread online, the dealership launched an internal investigation. Kia of Lake Charles confirmed the service manager is no longer employed and apologized to Poullard.

Poullard has retrieved her SUV but remains uneasy driving it and is seeking legal representation.
