Toyota's Gazoo Racing division has partnered with Sushiro, Japan's largest conveyor-belt sushi chain, for a nationwide promotion that blends automotive enthusiasm with culinary fun.

The campaign, dubbed GR Sushigo! , offers food-themed collectibles, custom digital games, and a family track day at Fuji Speedway.

Four Cars, Four Toppings

At the heart of the promotion are four custom pull-back toy cars, each inspired by a popular sushi topping.

The GR 86 sports a bright yellow scheme based on tamago (sweet egg omelet), while the GR Supra features a blue-and-white motif mimicking shime-saba (marinated mackerel).

The rally-bred hot hatches get seafood liveries: the GR Corolla is dressed as maguro (bluefin tuna), and the GR Yaris sports a black-and-red graphic set mirroring ikura (salmon roe).

Each model measures about 3.1 inches (8 cm) long and 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) wide.

Notably, the collaboration does not tease upcoming models like the GR Celica or GR MR2, which some fans might see as a missed opportunity.

How to Get One

Customers across Japan can collect one of 180,000 available scale models by ordering designated items at Sushiro restaurants.

The kid's sushi kit comes in a multi-functional box that folds into a race track mat, a target game ramp, or a transport truck storage box.

Additionally, Sushiro locations with large “Digi-ro” touchscreen ordering monitors feature an exclusive Gazoo Racing Mode.
