Aston Martin has unveiled a trio of one-off DB12 S grand tourers for Monterey Car Week in California.
Each was shaped by the Q by Aston Martin customization arm to mark the 75th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

The reference material behind the commission reaches deep into the company's racing past.
The three cars take their cue directly from the Aston Martin Racing Team DB2s that ran at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1950.
The originals were known by their British registration plates, all beginning with 'VMF', and each wore a grille finished in its own distinct color to tell them apart on track.
Three-quarters of a century on, the new DB12 S 'VMF' collection revives that idea.
The VMF 63 wears Rosso Red accents, the VMF 64 gets Speed Yellow detailing, and the VMF 65 carries Ellwood Blue highlights across its grille vanes.
The color work runs past the grilles.
All three carry matching accents on the carbon fiber side strakes, along with 75 graphics on the fenders and the Aeroblade rear spoiler, each set against Carbon Black bodywork for contrast.

The underside of the spoiler features the silhouette of the Aston Martin DB2. The same design is repeated on the seat embroidery.
Other custom interior touches include contrast stitching, 75 graphics on the rear seats and sill plates, and color-coordinated accents on the start/stop button and paddle shifter tips.
