Dutch semiconductor equipment maker ASML accounts for nearly a quarter of total gains on the European stock market in 2026, according to Bloomberg figures released on July 27, 2026.
The data highlights a concentrated rally driven by artificial intelligence demand.
The Stoxx Europe 600 index rose 8.8% this year, with nearly 60% of those gains generated by just 10 stocks.
ASML led the market after surging 55% from approximately €1,000 to €1,550 per share, boosted by its massive market weight.

While those top 10 companies contributed over 5 percentage points to the index, the remaining nearly 590 companies delivered under 4 percentage points combined.
