The drive featured a 22-yard pass to wide receiver Davante Adams and a 5-yard touchdown strike to tight end Tyler Higbee at Empower Field.
Stafford's family traveled to Denver to support him at the Sunday Night Football game.
His wife, Kelly Stafford, shared social media updates showing herself and their four daughters—twins Sawyer and Chandler, along with Hunter and Tyler—dressed in Rams apparel aboard a flight to Colorado.

Kelly Stafford on Balancing Football and Family
In a recent discussion regarding her home life, Kelly explained how the family balances professional sports with domestic routines.
"Our life has a lot of football in it. I wouldn't say it revolves around it.
Our life revolves around our children," Kelly Stafford said.
"To be honest, everyone sees Matthew as this professional quarterback.
But my kids see him as Dad—and when he's sitting on the couch, they just want to be cuddled up next to him."
She detailed how their evenings typically unfold once her husband returns home from training facilities.
"So right now, yes, he goes to work, he comes home, and you'll find us right where I just told you.
The girls finish their homework on their little desks that are from Wayfair, and then they come, and they sit on the couch, and they perform and they talk to him, the most special time," Kelly Stafford said.
She noted that maintaining a comfortable environment remains a priority throughout the demanding NFL calendar.
"We love football, we love going to games, but home is always special, and you want to make it as comfortable as you can," Kelly Stafford said.
"But honestly, a typical day is that. It starts with work and then it ends with family time, and that's every night.
So we're lucky in that sense."
Kelly also highlighted their choice of household furnishings to support their daily living routine.
"We are consistently changing and evolving in our house, and our furniture has to do the same," Kelly Stafford said.

Regarding hospitality, Kelly noted that they regularly host extended family members during the football season.

Years prior to these events, Kelly reflected publicly on the medical procedures required to start their family.

In 2019, Kelly underwent a 12-hour surgical procedure to remove a non-cancerous acoustic neuroma after experiencing sudden balance issues.
"I was in Michigan and had just gotten a massage. When I walked out, I just didn't feel right.
I was light-headed and it felt like the world was spinning around me," Kelly Stafford said.
She outlined her primary motivation during the recovery process in an essay published by ESPN.
"My biggest fear is not being here, and not being here to raise my girls," Kelly Stafford said.
"When I went home to hug my girls after the diagnosis, I knew I needed to get through this.
I tried not to go down the rabbit hole when it came to what was the worst. I wanted to focus on positivity."
She credited her husband for offering constant support throughout her diagnosis and operation.
"Matthew was incredible during the whole process," Kelly Stafford said. "He was literally by my side at every step."
The couple originally met at the University of Georgia before marrying in 2015, navigating an NFL career that spanned over a decade in Detroit before his transition to Los Angeles.
