Pete Wicks has launched the fourth series of his animal welfare show, Pete Wicks: For Dogs' Sake.
The new season premieres Monday, September 28, 2026, at 9 p. m.
on the free-to-air channel U&W.
The program highlights dog rescue and rehabilitation efforts across the UK.
Severe Neglect Cases and Rescue Efforts
Filmed at Dogs Trust rehoming centers nationwide, the series features severe cases of neglect.
These include a high-profile rescue of over 250 dogs from a single residential property and another dog saved from an unregulated rescue facility.
A spokesperson for Dogs Trust Evesham confirmed that Wicks and his production crew visited their facility for the new series.
This follows a previous filming visit to neighboring Dogs Trust Kenilworth, where Wicks helped rehome a Neapolitan Mastiff named Theo.
Wicks, who serves as an ambassador for Dogs Trust, is joined in this series by his rescue dog, Rodney.
He recently adopted Rodney from the organization to assist other rescue dogs in regaining their confidence.
Reflecting on the severe multi-dog neglect case featured in the show, Wicks expressed the emotional toll of witnessing such severe conditions during production.
"Yeah, the Doodles is one that will stick with me, and over the four series, it's probably one of the most heartbreaking cases I've seen," said Pete Wicks, TV personality and Dogs Trust ambassador.
The animal welfare advocate further detailed the extensive journey required to restore the physical health and psychological well-being of the neglected animals.
"We pretty much started filming them at the start of filming, and four or five months later, we only just got to a position where we got to see them being dogs," said Pete Wicks, TV personality and Dogs Trust ambassador.
Previous episodes of the program remain available for online streaming, with new installments scheduled to air weekly on Mondays at 9 p.
