Teresa Giudice has publicly addressed her daughter Milania Giudice's May 14 simple assault arrest in New Jersey for the first time.
The reality television personality shared a statement via Instagram Stories on September 28, 2026, requesting privacy as her family processes recent trauma.
Giudice said she felt compelled to speak out to safeguard her daughter's health and safety during a vulnerable period marked by emotional heartbreak.
"The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life," Teresa Giudice said.
Family Grief and Public Scrutiny
The statement highlighted that the family faced immense emotional distress following the loss of two close friends, including Victoria Zardoya, who died in a Florida fall two months after the arrest.
"Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends.
Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for," Teresa Giudice said.
