Teresa Giudice is asking the public and media to show compassion and privacy for her daughter Milania during a vulnerable period.
The appeal follows significant personal loss and trauma, as reported on September 28, 2026.
Milania is coping with the recent death of two close friends, including a childhood friend who died in an accident in Florida.
Teresa, a star from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, shared a detailed message on Instagram explaining her daughter's emotional state.
"Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends," Teresa wrote.
"Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for."
She stressed that her priority is ensuring Milania receives love and support while allowing her privacy to heal.
"She deserves the opportunity to heal without every moment of her pain being analyzed publicly," Teresa added.
"I am asking, from one mother to another, and from one family to all of you, to please show Milania compassion and kindness and allow her the privacy she needs right now."
Last week, a video posted briefly by Milania showed police accompanying the family at Tampa International Airport.
In the video, Milania, recently discharged from the hospital, ran away from her mother, sister, and a counselor.
Milania's manager, Maria DeSantis, confirmed that Milania is currently surrounded by loved ones and under professional care.
"Milania is currently surrounded by people who love her and is under the care of professionals who are working with her and her family," Maria DeSantis said.
DeSantis assured that Milania's well-being is the focus of those close to her.
