The Philadelphia Phillies are set to open the National League Wild Card Series against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park.
Philadelphia enters the postseason as the sixth seed after an uneven finish to the regular season.
First baseman Bryce Harper expressed his enthusiasm for the road venue ahead of the matchup.
"I love playing here. This is one of my favorite parks to play in," Harper said.
He added that he enjoys the field, the setup, and the atmosphere created by the Atlanta crowd.
Harper also noted that the regular-season numbers between the division rivals are well known.
According to Harper, the team understands the challenge and is ready for the opening round.
"Once postseason starts, it's a whole different game," he said.
He added that Philadelphia believes it is a very good baseball team and will try to do its best.
The Phillies bring extensive playoff experience to the road series against their division rival.
Atlanta enters the postseason with confidence despite missing out on a first-round bye behind the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers.
