Ferrari has introduced a new art collection called Sketch Body, featuring hand-painted and sketched body panels from its cars.
The pieces are large canvases that display actual body panels, turning automotive components into wall-worthy artworks.
The collection was initially previewed with the clamshell hoods of the 12Cilindri, 812 Competizione, and Purosangue.
It also includes the engine cover of the F80 and the rear clamshell of the limited-edition Daytona SP3.
Ferrari says panels from other models will also be available, though specific models have not been detailed.
Each panel receives black sketch marks and notes that highlight important curves and creases, similar to a special 812 Competizione Tailor Made from three years ago.
That one-off car featured painted black accents mimicking hand-drawn Sharpie lines, arrows, and designer notes.
The Sketch Body collection draws direct inspiration from that vehicle, aiming to bring Italian design themes into offices or lounges.
Design Critique and Art Focus
Ferrari has produced stunning cars over the decades, but recent models like the 849 Testarossa and F80 have faced criticism for their styling.
Some argue that the sultry shapes pioneered by Pininfarina have given way to sharper, more aggressive panels that lack gallery-worthy elegance.
