A Ferrari 599 GTB has been reborn as a one-off Shooting Brake, and it is heading to auction in October.
The car, known as the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage, was created by Dutch designer Niels van Roij.
Broad Arrow Auctions expects it to sell for between €450,000 ($514,000) and €650,000 ($743,000).
That is roughly four times the going rate of a standard 599 GTB.
A 599 GTB Like No Other
Despite its bespoke appearance, the car started life as a Ferrari 599 GTB.
Virtually every panel has been replaced, and no Ferrari badge remains in sight.
Only the original doors are left, with all other exterior panels hand-formed in aluminum.
The design was inspired by the custom 1972 Ferrari 368 GTB/4 Daytona Shooting Brake built by Chinetti-Garthwaite Motors.
More than 15,000 hours went into designing and crafting the modern interpretation.
The front end features a distinctive grille, an orange accent, and slim headlights.
At the rear, the original window has been replaced and the roofline extended to create the Shooting Brake shape.
The upright rear window stays fixed, while two side panels open like butterfly wings to access the cargo area.
Inside, the tan-leather cabin has been extensively modified, with the instrument cluster moved to the center of the dashboard.
Power still comes from the 599's original 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12, producing 620 hp and 448 lb-ft (608 Nm) of torque.
