NAVER's streaming platform CHZZK will live stream every match of the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026, an international League of Legends tournament running from October 3 to 17.
The event brings together 12 teams competing for a prize pool of approximately 300 million won.
The competition features top teams from six global regions: Korea's LCK, China's LPL, Europe's LEC, North America's LCS, Asia-Pacific's LCP, and Brazil's CBLOL.
LCK representatives KT Rolster, BNK FEARX, and Hanjin BRION are set to compete against international rivals.
The tournament serves to crown the top team that missed qualification for LoL Worlds 2026.
Tournament Format and Schedule
Action begins with an online Swiss Stage from October 3 to 8, following a random opening draw that prevents same-region matchups in the first round.
The top eight teams will advance to the offline Knockout Stage in Beijing, China, which features best-of-five matches.
The quarterfinals run on October 12–13, the semifinals on October 14–15, and the grand final on October 17.
CHZZK plans to broadcast all matches in real time on the official LCK channel while offering open co-streaming sessions with real-time chat for platform streamers.
Additionally, AI-powered Korean subtitles will support the organizer's official Chinese broadcast to assist viewers.
The coverage follows CHZZK's broadcast of the Asia Invitational 2025 in October 2025, which featured eight teams from three Asian leagues and garnered a total of 5.37 million cumulative viewers.
Geon-beom Ju, NAVER's Entertainment Leader, stated that as DCGI is an international tournament where LCK teams go head-to-head with regions like Europe and North America, CHZZK will support fans with full broadcasts, co-streaming, and AI subtitles so they can easily understand international playstyles and cheer for their teams.
Ju added that NAVER will continue to strengthen CHZZK's community-driven viewing experience by combining global esports content, technical capabilities, and streamer commentary for real-time fan engagement.
Team rosters and storylines highlight the tournament's competitive field.
KT Rolster enters as a favorite according to Polymarket users at 33 percent, facing Round 1 opponent Shopify Rebellion, who recently upset FlyQuest 3-2 in the LCS Playoffs.
Meanwhile, BNK FEARX modified their roster by parting ways with star ADC Nam 'Diable' Dae-geun after losing to G2 Esports, and will face the LEC's Team Vitality.
The European side finished first and second during the Spring and Summer regular seasons behind toplaner Kaan 'Naak Nako' Okan but failed to secure a Playoffs series win.
Natus Vincere enters following a close series against Movistar KOI, relying heavily on LEC Rookie of the Year Enes 'Rhilech' Uçan.
In the LPL, Team WE serves as a dark horse behind star jungler Wang 'Monki' Meng-Qi, while JDG will field a less experienced lineup with sub jungler Fang 'xiaofang' Zhe-Yu and midlaner Xiang 'Angel' Tao following the departures of Yu 'JunJia' Chun-Chia and Tsai 'HongQ' Ming-Hong.
