Oakland police are investigating the fatal shooting of fashion executives Bryan Walker, 61, and Michelle Min, 63, who were found dead Friday morning outside their home near the Berkeley border.
Officers responded to the scene on Panoramic Way around 10:43 a. m.
Friday, according to local law enforcement. Police said the married couple died at the location from gunshot wounds.
Although police have not officially released the victims' names, public records, neighbors, and local news organizations identified the pair as the founders of Bryn Walker, a Berkeley-based women's clothing company established in 1992.
Walker served as the chief executive officer of the apparel business, while Min worked as a designer.
According to the company's website, the firm manufactures clothing in the San Francisco Bay Area and distributes products to approximately 1,000 boutiques across the nation.
Investigation Details
Investigators recovered a firearm at the scene and confirmed they are not seeking any outstanding suspects.
Authorities have not publicly established a motive or identified who discharged the weapon.
Oakland Assistant Police Chief Casey Johnson indicated that investigators have not ruled out a potential murder-suicide scenario.
Surveillance audio obtained from the area captured the sound of a gunshot, followed by a man crying and screaming, and a second gunshot, as reported by CBS San Francisco.
Nearby residents described the couple as long-time area inhabitants who maintained a low profile.
