Kristian Shevchenko, the 19-year-old son of Ballon d'Or winner Andriy Shevchenko, has signed for non-league club Sholing FC.
The winger joined the Hampshire-based side after his release from Championship outfit Watford earlier this summer.
Sholing announced the move on their social media accounts, welcoming the teenager to the Boatmen.
The club noted his development at Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Watford, where he signed his first professional contract in 2025.
He is set to feature for Sholing in their FA Cup qualifying tie against Ebbsfleet United.
Youth career and international experience
Born in London, Shevchenko spent time in the youth academies of Premier League clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur before joining Watford.
He signed a professional deal with the Hornets in July 2025 but departed without making a senior appearance.
Although eligible for England, he has earned 15 youth caps for Ukraine at under-19 and under-20 levels.
He also represented Ukraine at the 2025 U20 World Cup.
Sholing's current form and squad addition
Sholing compete in the Southern League Premier Division South and currently sit 16th in the table with ten points from eight matches.
The Boatmen have recorded three wins in their last five fixtures across all competitions.
Alongside Shevchenko, the club completed the signing of forward Jonas Mukuna.
His father, Andriy Shevchenko, won the Ballon d'Or in 2004 during a career featuring Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan and Chelsea, where he secured Serie A, Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup honours.
