Professional golfer James Heath bled from his forehead on Thursday, May 21, 2026, during a televised interview prior to the Soudal Open at Rinkven International Golf Club in Antwerp, Belgium.
An unidentified interviewer noticed the blood dripping toward the golfer's eye and immediately alerted him mid-sentence.

"Man, I got to tell you, just got a big drop of blood about to go in your eye," said the interviewer.
Heath appeared unfazed and responded directly while remaining in front of the camera.
"Yeah, what's that all about, man?" asked Heath.
The golfer then explained that the minor injury occurred on the practice range before walking over to the media area.
"I nicked myself with a club on the range just beforehand," responded Heath.

Heath added a brief comment regarding his team before the broadcast segment concluded.
"It's actually me and my caddie just had a little bust-up," responded Heath.
Prior to the stoppage, the golfer had been discussing his routine and arrival at the $2.75 million DP World Tour European Swing event.
"Just normal stuff, but still had to show up," said Heath.
