Former Major League Baseball pitcher Trevor Bauer escaped injury on Wednesday afternoon after another vehicle struck his luxury sports car in the Scottsdale area near Phoenix, Arizona.

The 35-year-old Long Island Ducks hurler was driving his black McLaren within the posted 45 miles per hour speed limit when another driver collided with the side of his vehicle, according to information obtained by TMZ Sports and confirmed by Newsday sources.

Emergency responders arrived at the residential scene where debris was scattered across the road and a nearby yard, but authorities confirmed that nobody involved required hospital transport.

Bauer had traveled to Arizona earlier in the week to receive medical treatment for minor back spasms that placed him on the Atlantic League's injured list on Monday.

The 2020 National League Cy Young Award winner has been pitching for the Long Island Ducks while publicly campaigning for an MLB return, recently logging a 4-1 record and a 2.43 ERA with 56 strikeouts.

The collision caused significant damage along the driver's side of the luxury vehicle and sent it through the glass exterior of a building.

The former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher shared images of the wreckage online and maintained his humor regarding the severe impact.

"Yesterday, if you told me a semi truck would total my Mclaren, I would've believed you. If you told me it would happen like THIS?

I would've said you're out of your mind.
