Trabzonspor secured its 10th Ziraat Turkish Cup championship after defeating TÜMOSAN Konyaspor in the final match held at Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The Black Sea side won 1-0 in front of a packed stadium, with the decisive goal scored in the second half.

Manager Fatih Tekke led Trabzonspor to its first cup title since the 2019-2020 season, when they beat Alanyaspor in the final.

Campus Celebration and Match Details

Students and staff at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) gathered at an open-air viewing event featuring a giant screen set up in front of the Hasan Polat Indoor Sports Hall.

KTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı attended alongside academic and administrative personnel to cheer for the team.

The final match kicked off at 8:00 p. m.

under the management of FIFA-badged referee Halil Umut Meler and was broadcast live nationally on ATV.

Trabzonspor targeted its 10th trophy to maintain its position as the third most successful club in the competition's history, trailing only Galatasaray and Beşiktaş.

Conversely, TÜMOSAN Konyaspor entered the match under manager İlhan Palut, seeking its second tournament victory and a qualification spot in European competitions after a nine-year absence from the final.

The green-and-white team previously achieved its sole Turkish Cup title in the 2016-2017 season against Başakşehir, following a current campaign where they eliminated Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.

Prior to this final, the two clubs had faced each other six times in Turkish Cup history, resulting in two wins for Trabzonspor, one win for Konyaspor, and three draws.
