Team Outlook

Atlanta ranks 10th in league scoring, averaging 84 points per game. Coach Karl Smesko remains optimistic about the team's potential despite offensive struggles and injuries.

"I think we have a lot of room for improvement, which is really exciting for what we’re capable of doing," Smesko said.

"This is a long season. We’re going to keep getting better.

I think we have the makings of a great team."

Allisha Gray leads Atlanta with 25 points per game.

However, starting forward Rhyne Howard is in concussion protocol, and forward Brionna Jones is out with a knee injury.

Dallas counters with Paige Bueckers, who averages 20.8 points per game. Jessica Shepard recorded the first triple-double of the WNBA season against Chicago.

"We pass up good shots for great shots," Bueckers said. "I think we’re starting to get a chemistry with each other.

That comes with repetition."
