The Savannah Bananas will bring their viral brand of baseball to Knoxville on Saturday, May 23.

They will host a sold-out exhibition game against the Texas Tailgaters at the University of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium.

The crowd is expected to exceed 100,000 fans.

This matchup marks the second and final Knoxville appearance for the team during its current 190-game Banana Ball World Tour.

Tickets for the massive stadium event have been completely unavailable since selling out in December.

Pre-Game Festivities and Game Schedule

Festivities along Phillip Fulmer Way and Peyton Manning Pass commence at 2 p. m.

with a pre-game plaza featuring player appearances, live music, and dance parties. The entertainment continues into the 3 p.

Organizers urge ticket holders to enter the 101,915-capacity venue by 6:30 p. m.

Security and Traffic Measures

Strict security measures limit bags to one clear container no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches and a small clutch purse.

Prohibited items include open umbrellas, artificial noisemakers, selfie sticks, signs, weapons, and smoking.

Traffic dispersal following the event will utilize a new routing system first implemented on May 2.

Traffic control will convert Neyland Drive into three westbound lanes leading to Alcoa Highway, I-40, and Kingston Pike, while blocking all eastbound vehicles.
