Christian Humphreys, Gabriel Chiarot, and Cameron Arquette also scored for Kitchener, which led 2-1 after the first period and 5-2 heading into the third.

Everett entered the game seeking a win to secure a spot in the championship final after a 5-3 opening victory over Chicoutimi on Saturday.

"That was our goal coming into the tournament [to play in the final] and obviously we take it step-by-step and we're looking to get there tonight," said Everett defenceman Luke Vlooswyck, a Philadelphia Flyers prospect.
