Stellantis has unveiled the first official images and details of the new Lancia Gamma, a crossover fastback set to debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.

The Gamma will be available with both hybrid and fully electric powertrains, marking a return for the nameplate after decades.

Design and Dimensions

The styling follows the design language introduced with the new Ypsilon, featuring split LED headlights and a prominent front grille with active shutters.

The roofline is less aggressively raked than the Peugeot 408 or DS No8, but maintains a coupe-SUV stance.

A black trim on the C-pillars pays homage to the original Gamma Berlina.

The crossover measures 4.67 m (183.9 inches) long, 1.89 m (74.4 inches) wide, and 1.66 m (65.4 inches) tall, making it shorter and taller than the DS No8.

Powertrain Options

The entry-level hybrid produces 143 hp (107 kW) with a claimed range of over 1,000 km (621 miles), likely using a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine.

Three fully electric versions are offered: a base model with 227 hp and over 540 km (335 miles) range, a mid-range with 242 hp and over 740 km (460 miles), and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive flagship with 370 hp and up to 675 km (419 miles).

Platform and Production

The Gamma rides on the STLA Medium architecture, shared with the DS No8, and both models are built at the Melfi plant in Italy.

Interior and Features

The cabin features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 16-inch infotainment display running Lancia's SALA system with integrated climate controls.

Unique elements include a center console with the brand's signature "tavolino" tray, ambient lighting, and a three-spoke steering wheel.

The interior mixes black fabric with white synthetic leather and metal accents.
