Mazda has stepped into the sneaker world with a new collaboration, partnering with Japanese footwear brand Spingle to create the SP-MZD driving shoe.
The shoes are exclusively available in Japan, targeting enthusiasts who want to wear the brand beyond the driver's seat.

Two Colorways Inspired by Mazda's Heritage
The SP-MZD comes in two options: Sport Tan/Black and an all-black version.
The Sport Tan shade is the same leather found inside the new Mazda CX-5, paired with suede for flexibility.
This follows last year's SP-MX5 shoe, which featured a bolder red, white, and blue palette.
The new design takes a more restrained approach, aiming to attract buyers who passed on the original.

Mazda and Spingle spent two years developing the shoe, with teams visiting each other's factories. Each pair is built in Hiroshima, the home city of both companies.
Seven unisex sizes are available, and the shoes come in a box stamped with a sketch of the design.
Pricing is set at 26,500 yen (approximately $166) for both colorways.
The SP-MZD is sold through Mazda's and Spingle's online stores, as well as 14 Spingle retail locations across Japan.
