Gujarat Titans advanced to the Indian Premier League final on Friday after chasing down 215 runs against Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 in New Chandigarh, India.
The victory came by seven wickets with eight balls to spare, as Gujarat Titans finished at 219-3 in 18.4 overs.

It was their highest-ever successful run chase.
Captain Shubman Gill anchored the innings with 104 runs off 53 balls, hitting three sixes and 15 boundaries.
He shared a 167-run opening partnership with Sai Sudharsan.
Sudharsan scored 58 off 32 balls before being dismissed hit-wicket. He became the first batter in IPL history to be dismissed in that manner in consecutive innings.
Gill was visibly upset at the non-striker's end, falling to the ground in disbelief, but continued to complete his century.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals posted 214-6, driven by a 47-ball 96 from 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and an unbeaten 38 from Donovan Ferreira.
Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag said the pitch improved under the heavy roller in the second innings, making the target more achievable.
He noted that 230 would have been a par score.
Parag praised Sooryavanshi's calculated batting, saying he does not just slog but plays smart shots. He expressed hope that the youngster will help Rajasthan win a second title.

With this win, Gujarat Titans will play in their third final in five years. The final is scheduled for Sunday against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Ahmedabad.
