At the final buzzer, the 22-year-old center displayed raw emotion—laughing, crying, and embracing teammates—as he reached the Finals for the first time in his career.

Historic Achievement
Wembanyama became the youngest player to win the Conference Finals MVP award at 22 years and 146 days old.
He is also the second-youngest player in NBA history to reach the Finals, trailing only Magic Johnson and ahead of LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, and Tim Duncan.
Throughout the series, he averaged 27.3 points and 10.9 rebounds, scoring at least 20 points in every game.

“The people who would make fun of him haven’t done that and probably won’t do this,” Fox said.
Fox emphasized that the emotion reflects a deep desire to win. “I think it’s great that he shows that emotion, because he wants to win that bad.
