Gomber Dominates Early
Austin Gomber delivered a strong performance on the mound for the Stripers, allowing just one earned run on two hits across six innings while striking out three batters.
Gomber retired 15 consecutive hitters after surrendering a solo home run in the second inning before turning the game over to the bullpen.
The relief corps struggled as Hunter Stratton allowed three earned runs and four baserunners without recording an out, leaving the bases loaded in the seventh.
