Netherlands national team manager Ronald Koeman has rejected a request from midfielder Quinten Timber to leave the training camp in Zeist to attend the Champions League final in Budapest, Hungary.
Koeman announced the decision on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, during a press conference ahead of the team's friendly against Algeria.

I understand you want to be there as a brother, but he understood that I did not allow it," he said.
