The Mystics did not disclose when the injury occurred or provide a timeline for her return.

In Washington's previous game on May 29 against the Los Angeles Sparks, Citron played 37 minutes.
Despite a 92-87 loss, she recorded 21 points on 70% shooting, along with eight assists, one steal, and one block.
Through seven games this season, Citron is averaging career highs of 17.7 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.4 steals, shooting 54.2% from the field.

The franchise selected the former Notre Dame standout with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
